Adobe Photoshop. Include Cut Line (Dieline), Safety Margin, and Bleed. Artwork must be at 100% size and 300 ppi or higher. If your stickers is on clear vinyl include an extra layer to illustrate areas to remain clear. Make sure your file is setup in CMYK color mode. If you have questions about those items read the following sections on this page.

Artwork must be in digital format. Sorry, but we do not accept film,
mechanical artwork or laser printouts as artwork. All press ready digital files
must be finalized and submitted by 5:00pm PST every Wednesday for the
following week Gang-Run. Files submitted after the deadline will go on
the following Gang-Run edition.

Four-color process printing can produce some color variation. The color on
your sticker may vary slightly from the color in the digital file. Although the
colors are usually pretty close to the original file we can’t guarantee color
accuracy. Submit all files at 100% of the size they are to be printed.

Sticker Front: CMYK 300dpi or Higher
750 or 600dpi recommended for small type and fine detail.

Sticker Back: Grayscale 300dpi or Higher
750 or 600dpi recommended for small type and fine detail.

Adobe Photoshop

Resolution: 300 to 750dpi
File Types: TIFF, EPS and PSD
(Do not flatten PSD Layers. Retain all layers and transparencies.
Delete all hidden or unused layers that are not part of the design.)

Convert all fonts to outlines.

EPS, AI, PDF (Save PDF files with editing capability.)
Include all placed images. (These files must have a resolution 300dpi or higher.)
Do not trap.

Acceptable Media

CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Zip Disks, Floppy Diskettes

All design elements including color or black that prints to the edge
must extend 1/8" beyond the cut line.

(Any elements outside of the safety margin may be cut off during die cutting.
Die cutting may shift up to 1/16". )

All borders that print to the sticker edge must be 1/8" thick with a 1/8" bleed.
All borders that do not print to the edge must stay inside of the 1/8" Safety Margin.
(Borders can be any thickness.)

Make sure your files are in CMYK color mode not RGB or Spot Color.
If file is submitted with wrong color mode a fee is going to be charged for
color conversion.

Indicate cut/shape with a 1-point line on a separate layer
(This line is used to create the die blade for cutting stickers.)
Do not merge the cut line into your artwork!!!

Cut Lines, Kiss Cuts & Hole Punches must have 1/4" between blades.
Depending on shape complexity not all conforming shapes can be accommodated.

Indicate areas to remain clear or where colors are to be translucent.
This can be indicated by creating a detailed instruction layer in your file
or as written instructions on a printout.

*Without instruction we will make our best choice and customer must accept result.

If you mail a color proof we will use it as a color target, however
color matching is not guaranteed for stickers on our gang-run.
Gang-run color may shift up to 15% from supplied proofs.

Reprints: Reprints or credit for reprints are given at the discretion of the
General Manager. Refunds are not given after the stickers have been printed
or because the colors are different from your proof or monitor.
